Delivery Driver
DELIVERY DRIVER: KOKOMO LOCATION
Summary of Position: As a Delivery Driver, you will be tasked to deliver heavy, oversized equipment successfully, safely and in a timely manner, in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. You must be self-motivated, independent, and pursuing the completion of tasks efficiently with a concern for safety. As the Delivery Driver, you will be expected to maintain a positive attitude and an exceptional DOT driving record. Mechanical ability is necessary as oversized deliveries will often require breakdown and setup, however the majority of deliveries will be short haul loads to and from dealership locations and customer facilities within 200 miles or less.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Duties and Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver include but are not limited to:
- Perform over the road deliveries of farm equipment and other various oversized machinery.
- Move machines in need of repair between dealership and customer.
- Deliver new machinery and provide basic new equipment introductions for operation.
- Help the team serve the customer by serving in various capacities within the service department.
Position Requirements:
- Have a Commercial Drivers License (Class A)
- Confident operating farm and/or heavy equipment.
- Comfortable operating a Semi Tractor-Trailer hauling and tying down oversized loads.
- Ensure the effective scheduling of hauls, including routes and necessary permitting
- Have a positive attitude and enjoy working alongside dedicated individuals committed to high performance.
- Maintain high integrity and have a passion for serving others.
